Mother and child learning together in rural India

Empowering Children Through Quality Education at Home

बाल व् जननी शिक्षा अभियाान is a flagship initiative by VSK Foundation, focused on providing home-near tuition support for children from Nursery to Class 7 through trained NTT (Nursery Teachers) and PTT (Primary Teachers). We aim to make quality education accessible, affordable, and local, ensuring every child builds strong academic foundations.

About Bal V Janani Shiksha Abhiyaan

Mothers learning together at a community workshop in India

बाल व् जननी शिक्षा अभिया is designed to bridge the gap between children and quality education by offering tuition classes near their residence. Our model supports both children and mothers (जननी) by creating a structured and supportive learning environment within the community.

Bal V Janani Siksha Abhiyaan is a community-based educational initiative aimed at strengthening foundational learning among children from Nursery to Primary classes. The program focuses on delivering accessible, localized, and quality education to young learners, especially in underserved areas. We believe that early education is the cornerstone of a child's future, and every child deserves the opportunity to learn in a supportive and familiar environment.

To provide accessible education to every child by creating a network of trained teachers delivering tuition at neighborhood level, while empowering mothers to actively participate in their child’s learning..

Every mother deserves access to accurate information about pregnancy, childbirth, and child-rearing regardless of her background or location.

Every child receives quality primary education

Every family has access to nearby tuition support

Communities become self-reliant learning hubs

Community-based education centers

We establish learning hubs in underserved communities where mothers gather weekly for practical training sessions led by health educators and experienced mothers.

Peer-to-peer learning model

Experienced mothers mentor first-time mothers, creating supportive networks that continue beyond our formal programs and reduce isolation during early motherhood.

Culturally appropriate materials

All educational content is developed in local languages with visual aids suitable for women with varying literacy levels, ensuring knowledge reaches everyone.

Under this initiative, we provide home-near tuition support by connecting children with qualified teachers residing in the same or nearby locality. This ensures:
